I only bring this up because I realize Wilkow is a aficionado of punk and NOT pop music. I'm a metal head. I prefer progressive metal (like Iron Maiden) because it tends to tell a story. If you follow the band Iced Earth then you know their stuff is often based on American history. Look at their catalog and see what you like. Anyway, Iced Earth's founder Jon Shaffer has a side project called the Sons of Liberty. They have free download at http://www.sons-of-liberty.net/ . If you are a metal head or just like hard music with a intelligent patriotic appeal download the music and have a listen. As Shaffer says, "our lives should define freedom" |
