I am beginning to believe that the militant teachers can actually teach us a valuable lesson. Whenever a child tells the parent about a lesson topic that is offensive to the parent, instead of taking the grievance to the school board, several parents should take it to the school with some signs, drums, bullhorns, chants, etc. Hell, if it works for them it should work for us. And, the kids would be comfortable with it as they have seen their mentors use the same tactic. |
