I dearly wish that the Republican presidential candidates would stop with the crap over how much taxes each paid, who cheated on their wife, whose feet stink&they don't believe in God, etc. The answer to such stupid questions as whether or not violating wedding vows might equal violating presidential vows is this: if that is the standard then we'd never have had a JFK, FDR, LBJ, WJC, etc. as president. According to who doesn't like them, all presidents break their oath at times. The media question is yet another attempt to trivialize the process. They do it every time. The conservative voter needs to demand that the candidates deal only with specifics of the economy, energy, national defense, health care (see economy). People need to start asking themselves who is the candidate most likely to begin the process of turning the ship of state in the direction a smaller federal presence and transferring that power back to the states. It's a long, generational process and it has to be started now. Who is most likely to be able to successfully start the process?

Mitt Romney sometimes seems to be running his campaign as if we don't exist. Why doesn't he taut his ability to make money LEGALLY, and handle it it intelligently? I'd think his message would be: That's right, I made a ton of money because I know how. I'd think that would be an important considersation, inasmuch as the no-experience, lawyer/community organizer currently in office has improved our economy very little and at enormous cost. I pay the taxes that I'm obligated to pay. I didn't write the tax code, I live by its provisions just like others who pay taxes (a shot at Obama's appointees who seem to think they're exempt). I contribute a lot of money to charities, much of it through my church. I make no apology for these things. I'm proud of them, and consider them my duty as a human being.
