Got any liberals in your family? Immediate or otherwise? For me, just my younger sister. She went on to grad school but only works at Unplanned Parenthood, a job a high schooler could do. She fits Andrew's descriptions to the letter. Self-loathing and always full of anger; can never have a happy moment. When abortion doctor Tiller died, she held a vigil for him. I asked her if she was also holding one for all of the innocent babies whose skulls he collapsed without pain killers and sucked their brains out. I never heard the end of that! I guess the one thing libs can't get emotional on is abortion "rights". |

Yes, I have libs in the family. But when it comes time to make the argument, they revert to emotion because they can't provide real support for their arguments. I have to laugh every time. |

OMG yes - my oldest sister! I swear she didn't fall on her head, she was DROPPED! And everything you both have said - is my sister to a tee! She whines and says don't send me anything political and then she goes and sends me crap! So I reply back with page after page of PROOF. It shuts her up for a bit - until she can reconnect to the Borg Collective (as I put it) for a comeback! Her latest was something from moveon about aarp and the healthcare reform. So I sent her an extremely long email with all the HOT spots and page numbers and I told her to READ the bill herself instead of listening to her moveon people! That shut her up! The rest of my family, thank god are conservatives! |

Haha, yeah my sister always reverts to the emotional response when she can't logically win an arguement. But that tactic doesn't work on me anymore. |

Doesn't work on me either! Actually I love a good response from her just to get her charged up! She can't come back because she has nothing to come back with! On the Borg comment - don't you feel like they are like that? LOL For those that have watched or know what I'm talking about! |

Brother in law. We only talked about it once, for about five minutes. He's one of those who never voted before, nor cared about politics, but he "answered the call" when some liberal group came knocking on apartment doors last year registering voters. He registered so he could vote and "make history". Now he is becoming part of history. He works as a maint man at a fairly pricey private school. About six weeks ago, they let some employees go, but he "only" got hit with a pay cut. They also eliminated some of the outside contractors so his workload has increased with him now doing landscaping, roofing, etc. The enrollment, and therefore budget, is down at this private school because all those tuition-payers are cutting back due to the economy and are bracing themselves to pay for more things like the stimulus package and possibly healthcare. Noithing like cutting your own throat bro-in-law. When he said he was voting for Obama I was nice and simply asked the same question I asked others: Exactly why do you think he would be a good President? He responded with all the bumper sticker one-liners, so I asked again: Why do YOU think he would make a good President? I never did get a good reason from him, so I gave him a few reasons why he wouldn't be a good one. But his little mind was made up. I ended the short chat by saying that while each vote may seem to be a drop in the bucket, each vote still comes enormous responsibility and it should be used carefully. While some (like him) may be voting in blind ignorance, we all pay the price for the poorly thought-out choices of others. And that was all we ever discussed it. I'd ask him if he is still glad he voted for Obama, but I haven't seen him in months. He only seems to come around when I'm not here. Can't imagine why. |

Domestic Lib HELL! My wife AND my mother in law both subscribe to the left point of view, although my wife calls herself an independent. God how I try to talk sense into them....but then I just grab a cold one and stop talking politics once they start getting pissed because they can't break the arguments. |

Thank the good Lord I was able to convert my wife (her favorite prez USED to be Clinton!). No such luck with my mother (former Social Services/Welfare agent) or my sister (FDA Inspector). |

I have a cousin that I never knew was so liberal. . A retired union electrician so I should have guessed. . Two years ago I started forwarding all the political emails to him, especially Hitlery. . He first just came back saying "She's your next president". . (What everyone thought at the time) Then he came back with Hitler Bush stuff, Iraq for Oil. . I let him have it, listing all the great Bush actions, how Clinton and democrats called for Saddam's removal. . I sent him an email I keep listing all of Hitlery's rantings and cussing out Secret Service. . Finally he just told me to stop emailing him. . If liberals cannot beat you, they stop talking to you. . It's OUR fault they are liberals. |

Well, if these actual books that list the actual pages of actual events are indeed lying then why don't YOU sue them and make a mint. ... It's always a LIE when it comes to Hitlery, but it's always the truth when they say Palin said "Ah kin see Russia from my house". . While it has been documented over and over the foul mouth Hitlery has, oh but it's crap. . Liberals never lie, repugs ALWAYS lie. |

LOL.... There's no chance that the people selling these books may have 'made up' this material...right? I seem to remember one of them remarking that Hillary 'screamed at' her secret service detail when they had someone in 'uniform' attempt to drive Chelsea to school... The Secret Service debunked that one themselves and said that no one other than Secret Service drives the car... Patterson claimed that Hillary 'banned' military uniforms in the White House, but couldn't find any one of hundreds of people involved to corroborate.... He was selling a book too when he lied... |

Only Repubs lie in their books, but liberals are honest as the day and would never, UH, LIE, JUST to sell books. . What a COUNTRY!!!! |
