Me too... Why should he only limit his nonsense to people who happen upon him in the car...? |

Don't worry Marnesdad!! I'm sure Andrew will come out with a Coloring Book for the Phoney-Pseudo Intellectuals out there like yourself. |

marnesdad, why do you get on this website? If you disagree with Wilkow and everyone on here so much, it doesn't make much sense to keep hanging around here. I'm not trying to ridicule you, I'm just curious. I could understand coming here just to see what the other side is discussing and such, being well-rounded on all the viewpoints is beneficial. But if I were a Yankees fan, I wouldn't strictly go to Red Sox games just to cheer against them. It just doesn't make sense to me, so I'm just curious. |

I also think Wilkow should write a book. |

It would be boring to have a discussion where everyone agreed, like andrew says libs go 2 the front of the line. I like marnesdad, maybe he's slowly converting, like the guy that calls Hannity did. |

I guess the title is a Given. We are Right, They are Wrong. ??? |

TSmith... great question. I first heard Wilkow by accident quite a while ago, and the first thing I heard him talking about was how the detainees in Gitmo were not entitled to Geneva Conventions protections--which, as every knows by now, is simply not true. He followed up his misinformation (which I now know to be 'disinformation') with his usual toothless taunt of 'we're right, they're wrong, and that's the end of the story'... which I, of course, found ironic after just listening to him be 'wrong'... Since then, I catch parts of his show maybe a few times a week whenever I'm in the car at that time--and I've heard him get things 'wrong' many times. I'm here to show where he's wrong... nothing more. |
|
marnesdad 1 year, 11 months ago |
For example.... If someone can explain this, maybe I've got this man all wrong. Just about every piece of every show I manage to hear parts of includes something Obama or the democrats are doing that is driving America deeper into debt with ever-growing, out-of-control deficits..... I think we can all agree that this is a 'regular' topic for Wilkow, and something he continuously talks about on his program..... Now, Wilkow considers himself to be a 'real' conservative (insert your own defition here), so the idea of big government and debt and fiscal mismangagement clearly gets under his skin...so much so that he, again, can't stop talking about Obama and the democrats.... I'm sure everyone is still with me..... Soooo.... This SHOULD mean that if you were to go back over the many, many Wilkow radio programs that aired while George W Bush was in office, he surely (and daily) tore Bush and his administration up each and every day to the same extent that he attacks the Obama Administration, correct?... I mean, George W Bush ran up four consecutive record budget deficits while adding almost as much to the total national debt as all 42 presidents before him COMBINED. Wilkow must have been livid!.... In fairness, I didn't listen to Wilkow when Bush was president, but it's an educated guess that he wasn't nearly as 'conservative' then as he seems to be now.... That's all I'm saying..... |

yes, he did marnesdad. out of control gov't spending is crazy no matter whos doing it, but obama beat GW in one year, it took bush 8 years to get it that high & obama doubled down in less than one. If you want my personal opinion, I think Obama HATES america and is a part of the muslim culture that thinks were evil and if they couldnt destroy us toe to toe militararly and cant compete economically then they got someone in on the inside that will destroy us from within. I think Obama will laugh all the way back to the muslim world when he's done saddleing our granchildrens children with debt they will never be able to pay. & I cant wait to see how proud michelle obama is going to be if Barack only gets one term, will she come out & say she's dissapointed with us? I hope so. hell, maybe by then it'll be a chapter in Wilkows book! |

marnesdad 1 year, 11 months ago |
Wow... you'd think that as a 'conservative' so vocal in holding Bush's feet to the fire while Bush was destroying our future, people would have heard of Wilkow.... hmmm.... As for your take on Obama's motives? Laughable. |

Bush destroying our future? I think the financial process began much earlier than that. The Clinton administration didn't help when it pushed the idea of home loans to bad credit risks. The Reagan administration's military build up was necessary, in my opinion, but there was a hell of a lot of goldplating and lack of proper planning for what we actually needed. A lot of debt got built up over that. But then the rearmament wouldn't have been necessary if Carter hadn't decided that the way to peace lay in unilateral disarmament. And our finacial picture was very bleak when he left office. As far as I recollect, Wilkow, Limbaugh, and the rest have been fairly consistent in their taking Bush to task for the massive spending, and for allowing massive earmarks to pass him without interruption. What do YOU believe that Obama, down deep, represents? |

"As far as I recollect, Wilkow, Limbaugh, and the rest have been fairly consistent in their taking Bush to task for the massive spending,"... No offense, Nav, but let's try and be serious here. Are you actually saying that Limbaugh and Wilkow were just as critical of Bush as they are of Obama?... Really?... ////// What do I believe Obama represents? A misguided love of America no better or worse than that of any other patriotic American. Just because the typical liberal idea is bad for America overall doesn't mean that the guy is 'shilling for muslim ideals'... To be blunt, I believe that the liberals and conservatives are both nearly identical groups of the dumbest people in the country. Anyone who can, or even tries to, fit their political, social, and economic ideals into something that can be 'grouped and labeled' is a stubbornly ignorant human being, and a very bad US citizen. The only thing I think liberals have over conservatives is actually having the balls to carry out their dumb plans... conservatives just say they will... both groups are useless. |

Marnesdad, Obama said "I am managing the the demise of America" The question here is for whom is he managing the DEMISE of America? Lord Christopher Monckton says it is the liberal communistic elites of the world. I tend to believe Monckton to a T. |

"Marnesdad, Obama said "I am managing the the demise of America" The question here is for whom is he managing the DEMISE of America?" Nonsense.... |

Yeah, I've heard them give Bush a pretty hard time. But certainly not as hard as they are on liberals. On the other hand, they're honest about their partisanship, more so than the once mainstream media, for example. And it's hard to be kind to anyone who does what the Dems just tried with the health care bills, then whine about partisanship. As for Obama, I think misguided is a bit kind. I think he embraces the idea that we have brought all our troubles on ourself; that we can be friends with everyone if we just apologize for our nastiness; that extreme Islam doesn't have to be the threat that it is. In those areas, he's as naive as it's possible to be. He displays no serious understanding of people, cultures, and the way those things intertwine with the making of nations and how they do business. I believe that he really considers that no nation should tell any other nation what to do. He's learning that this is a foolish idea. Power won't tolerate a vacuum. Someone is going to be a major power and wield that power. I vote for us. As for the utility of both political parties, I agree to an extent. If the Republican Party elects enough serious conservatives - not Rinos OR that section of the business class that poses as conservative - then maybe they'll show us something. But election of conservatives isn't enough. Term limits and the elimination of pensions and benefits (except for the period when they hold office) would be a good thing. Let's see if the new electees want to go down THAT road. |

Marnesdad didnt hear loud crying about Bush because liberals can't command an audiance and air america failed & went out of business, but there WAS on Fox, Hannity, Beck and Wilkow, they ALL said Bush is crazy for the Bailouts and stimulus, but I wonder....what is the gov't working on while were arguing about this? Why are we paying senetors and congressman for having debates about Health Care NO ONE WANTS....talk about wasting money!!!!!!!!! |
|
TSmith0952 1 year, 11 months ago |
That answers my question marnesdad. I just find it unusual that someone who disagrees with someone so much constantly seems to "hang around". Again it's a free country and you can do what you want, I was just wondering what you feel your motives are. But I feel that calling anyone who align themselves with an ideal an "ignorant human being" and a "very bad US citizen" is pretty ignorant in itself. |
